I think that the difference between Ferraro and Imus is that Imus knows he's racist and he's proud of it and he believes he's right. I'm sooooooooooooooo glad someone (you) put that topic into perspective. I was reading the Feministing site and getting so pissed off and wound up over this whole sexism trumps racism b.s. "But of course white feminists who take this tack would think that sexism is worse that racism in this country, because they’re not affected by racism. They possess the privilege unique to white people to ignore and elide the true affects of racism." Thanks again for putting into words how I feel. I'm working on learning to do the same.
